Look what I found...

I was looking through my pictures saved on my computer and came across a few shots from a fun day when Mary Scott and Maddie came dress shopping with me. We went to two shops - the first didn't let us take pictures, but the second did. I liked two of the dresses at the first shop - enough to consider I guess - and I almost bought one from the second, but really I think I was just enjoying the wedding dress shopping experience and I wasn't really ready to buy. But, the girls and I had a lot of fun. Here are some photos to prove it. : )
This is the one I almost bought. It was on sale and didn't really fit, but I felt great in it. Still, it wasn't my dress.

Crazy ladies.

Meh. 6 out of 10, we said.

I liked this one - so different - but I felt so stuffed into it.

This was the one I was going to buy again...didn't fit well, but the fabric was so pretty.

No.

Eeek.

I have no idea.

The Save-the-Dates

..are finally coming. I found an awesome company online that uses recycled materials to create custom invitations and save-the-dates. The designs are really cute and with a few great photos make instance successes. We had trouble deciding between two different styles, but I am so excited for them to arrive. We have a few awesome picture we haven't used yet, but man have I been having fun with Mixbook. I used to use shutterfly for all my photo creations, but mixbook is so much better. Fully customizable, which I love.

I had some fun the other day - doing some ring shots. I want to become a better photographer, so I thought I'd play around with the close-up ring shot I see a lot on wedding blogs. I don't have the best lens, so the close up shots are that great yet. I am hoping to get a low aperture lens soon, but for now....here is what I got.

Fun with pictures!! I can't wait to stock up on photo supplies - lens, tripod, uh...etc. etc....and maybe a greater knowledge. : )
